Yochim Arts is a fine arts firm located in Los Angeles, California, specializing in the appraisal and consultation of paintings, prints, photographs and sculpture for individual collectors, artists, attorneys, wealth management advisors, corporations, insurance companies, and fine art institutions.
Appraisal services are billed on an hourly basis. Travel time is billed at the same hourly rate. A non-refundable retainer to cover the inspection appointment is required. After the initial inspection half of the estimated cost will be due to begin the appraisal assignment. Full payment is due before release of the final report.
All reports conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP). All reports and client information are confidential.

The appraisal process begins with an inspection appointment at which time the artwork/fine art property is described, documented and photographed. Following is the research, analysis and report writing; final reports are typically delivered 6-8 weeks after the inspection appointment.
Elizabeth Yochim, ASA, is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers, tested and accredited in Fine Art, who has worked in and around the art business for ten years organizing exhibitions domestically and internationally with Timothy Yarger Fine Art in Beverly Hills, CA, and providing clients with collections management and valuation services. The American Society of Appraisers is an international, interdisciplinary appraisal organization (www.appraisers.org).
