Yochim Arts is an international fine art advisory and valuation firm based in Los Angeles, providing rigorous, ethically grounded guidance to collectors, estates, artists, and institutions.

The firm is led by Elizabeth Yochim, ASA, an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers. Tested and accredited in Fine Art, Elizabeth has provided valuation, collections management, brokerage, and advisory services since 2003. Her valuation expertise is informed by more than twenty years of experience working on both sides of the market—as an accredited appraiser and as a gallery director—bringing practical, real-world judgment to every assessment. Her practice emphasizes historically informed analysis, market context, and responsible stewardship, particularly in periods of cultural and economic uncertainty.

Elizabeth brings deep market experience through senior leadership roles at Timothy Yarger Fine Art, where she curated and produced more than twenty multi-million-dollar exhibitions of 19th- and 20th-century, modern, and contemporary art presented in major Asian art centers including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Singapore. Over a ten-year period as Director of Art Fairs, she represented the gallery at leading U.S. art fairs and successfully placed significant works with private and institutional clients worldwide, developing long-term collector relationships and executing complex, high-value transactions. This market-facing experience forms the foundation of her brokerage and advisory work today.

Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of Michigan, with a specialization in Italian Renaissance art. She speaks Italian fluently and has lived and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and South America. She is a former member of the Executive Committee of ArtTable.

Committed to advancing thoughtful, ethical engagement in the visual arts, Elizabeth is active in mentorship, education, and service. She mentors emerging and mid-career artists and cultural practitioners, serves on the board of the Center for Conscious Creativity, and regularly engages in guest lecturing, workshops, and advisory roles. She is available for talks and lectures on art valuation, stewardship, market literacy, and the responsibilities of collecting and cultural leadership in uncertain times.

“After more than twenty years in the art market, I’ve learned that clarity—rather than speed—is what ultimately protects both value and legacy.”
